How to use
The CT-1A is a single-phase current data logger that needs its CT connected to your incoming supply. Setup the Logger using the Electrosoft software, then fit it to the distribution board or other point that you're going to measure.
This logger is designed to be installed by a competent person (generally an electrician or engineer), and safe the CT can be fitted without power interruption. Once you're set up, just press the Start button to start logging. The indicator will flash Green when logging.
When the logger's finished recording (or you've captured enough data!) just disconnect from supply, hook it up to your PC and download the information. Electrosoft will let you view the data immediately on-screen and save or export for later analysis.
Description
The CT-1A data logger is used by householders, companies, facilities management, power management and optimisation companies to monitor loads from 0.1A to 100A, model dependent. It can be used for energy audits and the monitoring and logging of new low energy products, eg, LED lighting, low energy bulbs. It can be used to record earth leakage currents, providing the currents are over 0.1A. Note, the current transformer breaks open, allowing it to be placed around the cable without having to break the main circuit.
The CT-1A models are designed for small loads, 0.1A to 100A if you require lower inputs, please let us know. The CT (current transformer), fits around 13mm cables. A larger CT accommodates 17.5mm x 22.5mm oval cables.
All KITS above include a data logger, voltage input lead, one clamp-on CT,USB lead, Electrosoft software and a carry case.
