How to use
The PV-3 is a three-channel Solar Irradiance DC Power logger. Setup the Logger using the Electrosoft software, then fit it to the points that you're going to measure.
What you get:-

This logger is designed to be installed by a competent person (generally an electrician or engineer), and if isolated test points are available can be fitted without power interruption. Once you're set up, just press the Start button to start logging! The onboard indicator will flash Green when logging.
When the logger's finished recording (or you've captured enough data!) just disconnect from supply, hook it up to your PC and download the information. Electrosoft will let you view the data immediately on-screen and save or export for later analysis.
The PV-3 data logger is used by installers, householders, renewable energy companies to check PV (photo voltaic) installations. It can record solar irradiation up to 1,500W/m2 (watts per square metre), DC Voltage and DC Current produced by the panel, allowing you to assess the performance of a solar energy installation. The logger will record up to 300 days using the included PSU (power supply unit), data can be downloaded to the free software, Electrosoft and analysed.
The advantage of the Electrocorder products over most others is that our data loggers constantly sample information (recording the Min, Max and Average) over the set period, many other products only take 'snap shots' of what is going on and can miss 99.9% of the data that is critical to your analysis.
Kit includes data logger, fused voltage input leads, DC current probe, pyranometer, USB lead, 12Vdc PSU, Electrosoft software and a carry case.

|Determining product order codes:
To specify your Electrocorder select various codes and enter into the boxes in order to create an accurate product code. For example: PV-3-HD-IP65-KIT.
